Trade Account Terms

The terms that apply to SEALIX Trade, Trade Pro and Trade Partner accounts.

1. Eligibility and approval

SEALIX Trade Accounts are available to genuine businesses that regularly use timber, stone, concrete or related surface-care products as part of paid commercial work.

Applications are reviewed by SEALIX. An ABN alone does not guarantee approval, and we may ask for information reasonably required to verify the business and its trade activity.

2. Trade pricing

Approved accounts receive product-specific trade pricing. Pricing varies by product and brand, and some products may have a lower or no trade reduction.

  • SEALIX Trade: up to 10% trade pricing on eligible products.
  • Trade Pro: up to 15% trade pricing on eligible products.
  • Trade Partner: up to 30% trade pricing on eligible products.

Trade pricing cannot be combined with another promotion or coupon unless SEALIX expressly allows it.

3. Account levels

Account levels are based on qualifying product purchases over a rolling 90-day period. Freight is excluded from qualifying spend. All spend thresholds shown below include GST.

Trade Pro is unlocked from $3,300 incl GST rolling 90-day qualifying spend. Trade Partner is unlocked from $8,500 incl GST.

Upgrades occur automatically when the applicable threshold is reached.

60-day protection: Trade Pro is protected until rolling spend remains below $2,640 incl GST for 60 consecutive days. Trade Partner is protected until rolling spend remains below $6,600 incl GST for 60 consecutive days. If spend recovers during that period, the downgrade timer resets. Trade Partner normally moves to Trade Pro before moving to Trade.

4. Delivery and payment

Trade accounts use the applicable SEALIX contractor delivery rates. Retail free-delivery promotions do not apply unless expressly stated.

Trade approval does not automatically create a credit account. Standard payment terms apply unless separate credit terms have been approved by SEALIX in writing.

5. Trade Network Program — Coming Soon

Eligible Trade Partners will be able to apply for the SEALIX Trade Network Program when it launches. Network participation is an additional benefit and is separate from Trade Partner pricing status.

Approval will require additional business and service verification, SEALIX training and competency testing. A business must also consent to any public contact details displayed in the network.

Approved network businesses will remain independent businesses. Customers will engage and contract directly with the business they choose. Network approval will not make a business an employee or agent of SEALIX and will not guarantee an individual workmanship or project outcome.

6. Account use and review

Trade accounts are issued to the approved business and are not transferable. SEALIX may review, suspend or remove trade access where eligibility is no longer met, information provided is inaccurate or the account is being misused.

Product-specific trade pricing may change when supplier costs, retail pricing, product ranges or commercial conditions change.
