Deep Clean, Rejuvenate & Seal Your Deck
This 60m² kit combines the preparation and finishing products needed for new, grey, weathered or old bare timber. It deep cleans the surface, restores and conditions the timber, then protects it with three coats of Haymes Dexpress Deck Finish.
The result is a refined polished, low-sheen appearance. This kit is intended for bare timber. If oil, stain, sealer or another coating remains on the surface, remove it with a suitable stripping system before beginning.

These products provide the cleaning and rejuvenating stages followed by three coats of Dexpress Deck Finish for a complete 60m² deck system.

This is not a stripping kit. If the timber still has oil, stain, sealer or another coating on it, remove that coating with a suitable deck stripping system before using the Deep Cleaner, Rejuvenator and Dexpress.
This kit is sized for decks up to approximately 60m², allowing for preparation followed by three coats of Haymes Dexpress Deck Finish.
Coverage varies with timber species, porosity, surface profile, application method and deck condition. Very dry, rough-sawn or highly absorbent timber may require more product. Measure the deck and complete a test area before starting.
- Inspect the timber: make sure the deck is bare and free from old coatings, wax, grease and other contaminants.
- Deep clean: apply Viccon Wood Deep Cleaner according to the label. Work in manageable sections, agitate where required and rinse thoroughly.
- Rejuvenate: apply Viccon Wood Rejuvenator as directed to restore and condition the timber. Rinse thoroughly after the recommended dwell time.
- Allow the deck to dry: wait until the timber is fully dry. Lightly sand raised grain or rough areas and remove all dust.
- Apply Dexpress: apply three even coats of Haymes Dexpress Deck Finish Natural, following the label for coverage, drying time and recoating conditions.
Drying and recoating times vary with temperature, humidity, airflow and timber porosity. Always follow the directions on each product label.
Three coats of Haymes Dexpress create a polished, low-sheen finish that enhances the timber while helping protect it from outdoor exposure and everyday wear.
Final colour and sheen depend on the timber species, age, porosity, preparation and application. Test the full system on a small, discreet area before coating the complete deck.
Inspect the finish regularly and carry out maintenance before it becomes heavily worn. Timely maintenance is generally easier than allowing the coating to fail completely.

Does this kit contain a timber stripper?
No. It is designed for new, weathered or old bare timber with no coating to remove.
What if an old coating is still present?
Remove it with a suitable deck stripping system before deep cleaning, rejuvenating and applying Dexpress.
How many finish coats are included?
The pack includes enough Dexpress for three coats over approximately 60m², subject to timber porosity and application conditions.
What finish should I expect?
A polished, low-sheen appearance. Colour and sheen vary with the timber, so complete a test patch first.
Can I coat immediately after rejuvenating?
No. Rinse thoroughly and allow the timber to dry completely before sanding and coating.
SEALIX recommends this system when the deck is genuinely bare but needs thorough preparation before coating. Deep cleaning and rejuvenating help create a cleaner, more consistent surface before the three Dexpress finish coats are applied.
Before starting, splash a little water onto several parts of the deck. If the water soaks in evenly, the timber is likely bare and ready for preparation. If it beads or absorbs unevenly, an old coating may still be present and should be removed first.
For the best result, complete a small test area through every stage—Deep Cleaner, Rejuvenator and all three Dexpress coats—before proceeding with the entire deck.
