The pack provides the preparation stages and CUTEK oil needed for the complete 60m² system.

Choose this kit for new timber, grey or weathered boards and old bare decks where no film-forming coating remains.

This is not a stripping kit. If paint, sealer, stain or another film-forming finish is still present, remove it with a suitable stripping system before deep cleaning, rejuvenating and oiling.

This kit is sized for decks up to approximately 60m², including preparation and the recommended CUTEK oil system.

Coverage varies with timber species, porosity, surface profile, weathering and application method. Test a small section and follow the CUTEK label when planning coats and product requirements.

Select Clear to retain the timber’s natural weathering character, or choose an available CUTEK Colourtone to add pigment and colour while oiling.

When a Colourtone is selected on the product page, the Colourtone required for the oil supplied in this kit is included at no additional charge. Always complete a test patch because timber species, age and porosity affect the final colour.

1. Confirm that the deck is bare and free from film-forming coatings, wax, grease and contaminants.
2. Apply Wood Deep Cleaner according to the label, agitate where required and rinse thoroughly.
3. Apply Wood Rejuvenator as directed, allow the recommended dwell time and rinse thoroughly.
4. Allow the timber to dry completely. Lightly sand raised grain or rough areas and remove all dust.
5. If using a Colourtone, mix it thoroughly into the CUTEK oil as directed.
6. Apply CUTEK Extreme CD50 in thin, even coats and observe the label’s coverage, penetration and recoating instructions.

CUTEK Extreme CD50 penetrates the timber rather than creating a heavy surface film, producing a natural matt appearance. A Colourtone adds pigment and helps maintain a more consistent coloured appearance outdoors.

Inspect the deck regularly and maintain it before the timber becomes heavily weathered. Clean the surface and follow CUTEK maintenance instructions before recoating.

Does the kit remove an old coating?
No. Film-forming finishes must be stripped first.

Is the Colourtone compulsory?
No. Choose Clear or an available Colourtone on the product page.

SEALIX recommends this kit for customers who want a natural matt finish on genuinely bare timber. The preparation stages help the oil penetrate more evenly and reduce the risk of coating over grey fibres or contamination.

For exterior timber, a CUTEK Colourtone is recommended when you want added colour and improved resistance to visible greying. Always test the complete system on a small area before treating the entire deck.
