All CUTEK® wood oils are sold clear. When used without a CUTEK® Colourtone, the timber will naturally lighten and develop a beautiful silver patina as it’s exposed to sunlight and UV.
While the clear oil continues to protect the timber from within—preventing moisture damage, warping, and splitting—it does not preserve the original colour. If you want to maintain the fresh, oiled appearance or achieve a specific colour outcome, you must add a suitable CUTEK® Colourtone.
