The Prime Exposure Coloured Sealer is a professional-grade system designed to both decorate and protect concrete surfaces. Its solvent-based xylene formula penetrates and binds strongly to the substrate, leaving a durable, coloured coating that resists weather, dirt, and contaminants.
Unlike standard paints, this sealer is engineered for concrete. It enhances the colour and appeal of new or existing driveways, paving, and outdoor entertaining areas, while providing lasting resistance against mould, algae, oil, and grime. UV stabilisation ensures the finish stays vibrant and attractive for years, even under Australia’s toughest climate.
- Solvent-based coloured sealer for maximum durability
- Made for Australian decorative and exposed concrete
- Enhances colour and protects against staining and weathering
- Suitable for new, old, or previously sealed concrete
- Trusted by professional applicators for residential and commercial jobs
- Surface Preparation:
- Allow new concrete to cure for at least 7 days.
- Pressure clean thoroughly (2000+ PSI).
- Acid etch with 9:1 water to HCl, rinse well, and allow to dry completely.
- Concrete must be bone dry before sealing to prevent whitening or delamination.
-
Application:
- Mix sealer thoroughly before use.
- First coat: dilute 70% sealer with 30% xylene (50% dilution on very hard/steel-trowelled surfaces).
- Apply with roller or Viton seal spray unit — ensure even coverage with no pooling.
- Allow 2–4 hours between coats (weather dependent).
- Second coat: apply undiluted.
- Do not drive or park vehicles on sealed surfaces for at least 7 days.
-
Resealing:
- Clean and dry surface thoroughly.
- Apply one coat of Prime Exposure Xylene Blend to reactivate existing sealer.
- After 4+ hours, apply one undiluted coat of Coloured Sealer.
Clean-Up: Wash tools in Prime Exposure Xylene immediately after use.
- Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C or above 35°C.
- Avoid sealing if rain or dew is expected within 3 hours.
- Always allow concrete to thoroughly dry — moisture will cause whitening or peeling.
- Add Prime Anti-Slip Glass Beads for safer high-traffic areas.
- Stir sealer regularly during application for colour consistency.
