The Prime Aqua Top Coat is a next-generation sealer made with advanced German acrylic polymers and blended locally in Australia. Unlike solvent-based sealers, Aqua Top Coat is non-hazardous, low-odour, and moisture-tolerant, making it the perfect choice for both indoor and outdoor applications.
It must be applied over Prime Aqua Primer, which consolidates the surface and ensures strong adhesion. Together, they form a breathable, durable sealer system that enhances early surface strength, protects against contaminants, and delivers long-lasting performance.
Prime Aqua Top Coat offers up to 30% longer life than xylene-based sealers, with greater surface coverage and industry-leading resistance to hot tyre pickup. Ideal for driveways, garages, decorative paving, and interior concrete floors where safety and low odour are essential.
- Innovative water-based two-part system (Primer + Top Coat)
- Provides a safer, eco-friendly alternative to xylene sealers
- Can be applied to damp concrete and masonry
- Long-lasting, UV resistant finish suitable for Australian conditions
- Outperforms solvent-based sealers in durability, coverage, and safety
Surface Preparation
- Ensure the Prime Aqua Primer coat has sufficiently cured (typically touch dry within 5–10 minutes).
- Surfaces must be clean, free from grease, oil, dust, or contaminants.
- Can be applied to damp (not wet) surfaces.
Application
- Stir thoroughly before use.
- Apply one even coat with roller, broom, or spray unit. Avoid pooling.
- If spraying: apply one coat of Primer followed by two coats of Top Coat.
- Allow minimum 2 hours between coats (longer in cooler/humid conditions).
- Full curing: approx. 7 days depending on ambient temperature.
Resealing
- Pressure clean (2000+ PSI).
- Ensure surface is free of grease/oil.
- Apply Prime Aqua Primer as first coat, followed by Aqua Top Coat.
- Indoor areas where low odour is required (garages, workshops, interiors)
- Driveways and decorative concrete needing UV resistance & durability
- Damp or moisture-prone substrates where xylene sealers fail
- Residential and commercial projects needing safe, easy application
- Apply in temperatures above 15°C and low humidity for best results
- Allow longer intervals between coats to maximise resin hardness
- Add Prime Exposure Anti-Slip Glass Beads in high-traffic or sloped areas
- Always apply Primer first — Aqua Top Coat is designed as part of a two-part system
- Do not allow pooling — apply thin, even coats
- Is Aqua Top Coat water-based or solvent-based?

- Do I need to use Primer first?
